Larry is a personal study tool. These terms cover using it. Read the privacy policy for how your data is handled.

Pilot status

Larry is an early product, still being built out. Features can change, and something can occasionally break as we improve it. If it does, our target is to fix it within 72 hours, and we'll show an honest in-product message rather than let a feature fail silently.

What Larry is

Larry is a personal study companion for learning Thai from what you're already watching. It works alongside your own Netflix account, showing a bilingual subtitle overlay and letting you save words for later review.

Netflix

Larry is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Netflix. You need your own active Netflix account and subscription to use it; Larry does not provide, stream, or resell any Netflix content.

Acceptable use

Use Larry for your own personal language study. Don't use it to copy, redistribute, or republish Netflix's video or subtitle content. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for resale, or abuse the service in a way that affects other learners.

The free layer

Larry is free to use during the pilot, with no card required. This is the free layer of the product going forward: a real, usable tier that stays free, not a time-limited trial.

Subscriptions

Billing has not launched yet. When paid plans arrive, prices will be shown clearly at checkout, handled through Paddle. Nothing changes for existing free-layer use without us saying so first.

No warranty

Larry is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Pronunciation guides and word meanings are aimed at helping you follow along, not at being an authoritative dictionary; Larry may occasionally get a nuance wrong, particularly on tone or particles a short subtitle line flattens.

Termination

You can stop using Larry and delete your account at any time from Review Studio's profile page, or by emailing us. We can suspend or close an account that violates acceptable use, and we'll tell you why if we do.
